Former WHITE ZOMBIE Bassist Resurfaces In ROCK CITY MORGUE

November 11, 2002

New Orleans, Louisiana-based ROCK CITY MORGUE, featuring former WHITE ZOMBIE bassist Sean Yseult, ex-MAN SCOUTS OF AMERICA frontman Rik Slave, and ex-SYRUP drummer Michael Brueggen, have finished recording a six-song EP, titled "Some Ghouls", with producer Daniel Rey (RAMONES). "The recording took place at New Orleans new Truck Farm Studios, and the band was very happy to work with former Kingsway engineers Trina Shoemaker and Andrew Gilchrist — not to mention the assistance of owners Karen Brady, Dave Pirner, Georgia, and the inimitable Larry," the group said on their official web site. "At one point the band worried all was lost when the room was overrun by a pack of wild dogs, but their input proved invaluable."

In other news, ROCK CITY MORGUE have lined up the following gigs during November:

Nov. 17 – New Orleans, LA @ Shim Sham Club
Nov. 20 - Los Angeles, CA @ The Dragonfly (Pretty Ugly Club)
Nov. 21 – Hollywood, CA @ The Viper Room
